Rita Kirkman
Rita Kirkman was born an artist. She has been creating since age 11, with her first paid commission at 17. In 1988 she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts and began a business drawing detailed pencil portraits from photos.
Her work has been featured in the Pastel Journal and the Pratique des Arts Spécial Pastel. She is a Pastel Society of America Master Pastelist and an Eminent Pastelist with the International Association of Pastel Societies. Her paintings are in private collections across North America, Europe, Japan, Africa and Australia.
